With Jennifer Lowman presiding, the Communications Committee convened via video conferencing for its final meeting of the academic year on Thursday, May 27. The agenda included a spring social media check in, superintendent search communications and a dashboard update. Director of Communications Kevin Kaufman reviewed campaigns and popular posts he and digital content specialist Dana Walker created within the past six months on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Kaufman reviewed the communications for the superintendent search, which included a dedicated web page, numerous social media posts and letters to the community about surveys and public forums. Finally, Kaufman unveiled a mock up of the district data dashboard project. Communications and Technology will work together in the coming months to bring the preliminary mock up to fruition. The Communications Committee will meet next on Thursday, September 23.
