Facilities Committee Presentation November 2020

With co-chair David Cohen presiding, the Facilities Committee convened in a Zoom webinar room on Monday, Nov. 2. The agenda included updates on COVID-19, facilities maintenance school updates, facilities capital improvement plan and SchoolDude. Committee members were briefed about COVID-19 facilities updates, including univent repairs at Cheltenham High School, and installation of Aeramax HEPA air purifiers at CHS and Elkins Park School, HVAC repairs at Cheltenham High School to meet requirements for air flow, and completion of the AC project at Elkins Park School. Information was provided in relation to the draft report of the facilities condition assessment, which will be utilized in the district’s capital improvement plan. Report findings will be presented at the committee’s next meeting, Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.
