In-School COVID Testing

The process for students to be COVID tested during the school day requires a written parental permission form and registration for a QR code; which must be provided to the nurse prior to testing. The written permission form can be found online but must either be presented or emailed to your child's building nurse prior to the need for testing. In addition, the registration for the QR Code must be completed online and the actual QR code needs to be forwarded to the appropriate building nurse listed below.

Masking
On Friday, Dec. 10, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court struck down the statewide mask mandate. Regardless of the decision handed down, Cheltenham School District will continue to require students, staff and visitors to wear masks in our buildings for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year. If there is a positive shift in metrics, this timetable will be revisited.

COVID-19 Dashboard
All COVID-19 case numbers for each building are located on the COVID-19 Dashboard on the front of the school district’s website. This dashboard is updated weekly and provides case numbers by building. The data is broken down by staff and students, and the number of positive cases for the week and school year are also listed in the dashboard.
