CSD Department of Innovation Delivers Internet Safety and Digital Citizenship Presentation at CBK
During Cedarbrook’s What I Need (WIN) period on Thursday, Sept. 12, Brandon Lutz, supervisor of instructional technology, delivered an internet safety and digital citizenship presentation to 653 students in more than 40 classrooms at the same time. Utilizing the student engagement platform Nearpod, Lutz “broadcast” the presentation to students’ Chromebooks, allowing students to follow the presentation and participate by asking questions and taking polls. With YouTube Webcam, Lutz was able to stream his presentation to the white boards in the classrooms. Lutz has now delivered his internet safety and digital citizenship to more than 1,800 students at CHS and CBK.
