(March 23, 2023) Performing Jennifer Hudson’s “One Night Only” from the movie “Dreamgirls” under the name NariYella, CHS alumna Nyla Anthony sang on NBC’s “The Voice” on Tuesday evening. Her rendition, which received a four-chair turn, was full of “vocal gymnastics, soul and power,” according to Billboard.com. NariYella, who chose Chance the Rapper as her coach, performed during the blind audition stage of the competition.
