(March 8, 2023) Congratulations to the four Panther Boys Basketball players who were named to the All-Freedom Division team. Sophomore Josiah Hutson earned first-team accolades, while senior Yakeen Respes and junior Kamani Healey earned second-team honors and junior Nile Tinsley was recognized with an honorable mention.

A first-team all-league selection for the second straight season, Hutson averaged a team-high 14.3 points per game (ppg) and 3.6 assists per game (apg), and is just 290 points from cracking 1,000 for his career. Healey, who averaged almost nine ppg, three apg and more than five rebounds a game, and his brother Kyin are the second set of brothers during coach Pat Fleury’s tenure to make all-league. Respes averaged 7.6 ppg and six rpg in helping the Panthers to their fifth straight district playoffs. Tinsley averaged 5.5 ppg and 4.4 rpg, and is the son of former Cheltenham all-league selection Vaughn Tinsley ‘02.
