Ten Students Accepted into “Touch the Future” Art Exhibition
(March 2, 2023) Employing a wide variety of media, 10 Cheltenham High School students have won entry into the PSEA’s 36th annual “Touch the Future” student art exhibit. The show is open to the public from March 5 to March 29 at Montgomery County Community College’s Art Gallery (340 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell). The opening ceremony is Sunday, March 5 from 1 - 3 p.m. with the awards presentation at 2 p.m.
Students with artwork represented are Madison Messa (3D Mixed Media), Maris Raisch (Digital Imaging/Computer Graphics), Antonio Gillespie (Digital Imaging/Computer Graphics), Malena Vila (Digital Imaging), Jaheim Hill (Digital Photography), Marguerite Reimer (Digital Photography), Johanna Jarvis (B&W Drawing), River Somerville (Acrylic Painting), Thea Stamoulis (Acrylic Painting), and Sophia Weisman (Color Drawing).
Emily L. Dugan, admissions counselor for Temple’s Tyler School of Art & Architecture, juried the show, which accepted work in 16 categories from students from 25 high schools throughout Bucks and Montgomery counties.
