(November 30, 2022) Seniors Celia Bluestine, Soprano 1, and Vaughn McCain, Tenor 2, have been accepted to perform at the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 11 Chorus Festival. The audition, in which they sang “Laudate Pueri” by Mozart and “O Sing Joyfully” by Adrian Batten, included hundreds of singers from across Montgomery and Bucks Counties. The 2023 district festival will be held Thursday-Saturday, Jan. 12-14 at Council Rock High School South in Holland, Pennsylvania. 
 
The PMEA District 11 comprises all levels of public, private, parochial, college and university, as well as retired music educators, administrators and music industry representatives from throughout Bucks and Montgomery Counties. The organization aims to advance the study of music education throughout the commonwealth and encourage excellence in the study and teaching of music. The association supports and promotes quality music education through statewide workshops, conferences, performances and festivals.
