Eli LaBan is an alumnus of Cheltenham High School class of 2013 and will graduate from Temple University in May 2017 with a major in video production. Over the past few years Eli has worked on several award-winning projects including documentaries about local artists and musicians and the emerging music scene in post-apartheid South Africa. Most recently, he won an Emmy for his work on NBC10’s Generation Addicted web series that investigated the local heroin epidemic. Eli is currently in Nicaragua finishing a social media video series about indigenous languages in the South Caribbean Autonomous Region before returning to Philly to finish his final semester. He credits Cheltenham for giving him the ambition and perspective to accomplish everything he has so far.
