Seven Cheltenham Student-Athletes Named to National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Squad

Seven Cheltenham Student-Athletes Named to National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Squad Juniors Megan Boyle, Molly Cohen, Emma Farrell, Natalie Martin, Jacqueline Messa, Celia Rittler and Riley Walker have been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) High School National Academic Squad

Cohen, Martin, Messa and Rittler also achieved recognition as scholars of distinction for recording a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.9 out of 4.0 through the first quarter of the 2019-20 school year.

The seven girls were among more than 2,300 student-athletes from more than 270 high schools across the country to earn the honor. The High School National Academic Squad program recognizes those high school seniors and juniors who have achieved a minimum cumulative, unweighted grade-point average of 3.50 out of 4.0 through the first quarter of the 2019-20 school year.

A nonprofit organization serving field hockey coaches and supporters of the game from across the United States, the NFHCA aims to stimulate the professional development of coaching leadership within the sport of field hockey and strives to cultivate and recognize the professional contributions of its membership and foster and promote the growth of the sport.
