“Girls Who Run the World” Author Diana Kapp Visits Elkins Park

“Girls Who Run the World” Author Diana Kapp Visit Elkins Park On Thursday, Oct. 17, journalist and author Diana Kapp visited Elkins Park School on her debut book tour to talk to students about her new book “Girls Who Run the World: 31 CEOS Who Mean Business,” and brought along with her Pals Socks founder and CEO Hannah Lavon, one of the CEOs featured in her book.

During their visit, the women interviewed each other about their careers in writing and entrepreneurship, illustrating that nothing is out of the grasp of girls, and spoke about entrepreneurship and girls making bold moves.

Former Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright called the book “a woman-to-woman playbook that spotlights bold businesswomen who have achieved success and done it in their own way.”

A number of students received autographed copies of the book. The EP PTO organized the visit, which was made possible through a partnership between Challenge teacher Mary Aiken and Haverford bookstore Children’s Book World.
