CES Hosts Tanzanian Teachers

Tanzanian Teachers Visit CES On Tuesday, Apri 2, Cheltenham Elementary School hosted visitors from Tanzania! In 2017, CES first grade teacher Stephanie Jacob and CBK science teacher Debi DiBattista traveled to Lushoto, Tanzania and visited many local public and private schools, where they met Happyness and Christine, who were both heads of schools. Happyness and Christine had the opportunity to travel to Pennsylvania and visited Cedarbrook and CES to learn about what American schools. Students learned about Tanzania and its schools, and the similarities and differences between the countries. Students learned how to say Tanzanian words and phrases, and studied African music and performed several songs and chants for the guests. A wonderful learning experience for all involved.
