Ultimate Frisbee Fundraiser with Philly Phoenix

CHS Ultimate Fundraiser Flyer Cheltenham High School Ultimate frisbee, which kicks off its season Friday afternoon with a boys matchup at the Science Leadership Academy, has partnered with the Philadelphia Phoenix, the city’s professional ultimate team, on a fundraiser. The Phoenix is donating 50 percent of all tickets sales from its April 27 home opener and 20 percent of all merchandise sales purchased through this link to CHS Ultimate.

Along with the Phoenix’ donation, the more discounted tickets that are sold, the more perks the team receives at that home opener, up to and including participating in the opening festivities and meeting players. The team has been invited to play a yet-to-be-determined opponent during halftime. Tickets are $18/adults and $8/youth, and families can order an $18 youth package that includes a ticket and one-hour pregame clinic.

Founded in 2012 as one of eight original teams in the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL), the Phoenix competes in the AUDL’s East Division with DC Breeze, Montreal Royal, New York Empire, Ottawa Outlaws and Toronto Rush. Home games are played at A.A. Garthwaite Stadium in Conshohocken. The AUDL has 21 teams across the United States and Canada. Phoenix schedule>
