Felix, who carries a 3.84 GPA, served as a tri-captain for the Panthers’ breakout 8-4 season this past fall and is a two-time all-league selection at tight end. He is a member of multiple student groups, including the Blue and Gold committee, and participates in Cheltenham’s Unified Sports program.
The NFF Local Chapter High School Scholar-Athletes represent the best of the best from the more than 500,000 high school football players at the 5,000 high schools covered by the NFF Chapter Network. Criteria for recognition include but are not limited to academic achievement, athletic accomplishments and community leadership. More than 120 local NFF chapters in 47 states serve as the local stewards of the NFF’s mission at the grassroots level, promoting and protecting the game for future generations. The organization collectively honors more than 3,500 high school scholar-athletes each year. NFF chapters have honored more than 85,800 scholar-athletes since 1959, while distributing more than $22 million in scholarships.
