Since his Spanish 1 class, Abdul has not only gained confidence in learning a second language, but has also shown academic excellence and growth. He loves learning and speaking the Spanish language and he shares his passion with others. He takes pride in his work and is extremely motivated. Abdul has grown as a student and has mastered the art of time management, studying vocabulary every night and preparing early for his tests. Abdul loves speaking in Spanish, both inside and outside of class. and is the perfect candidate to receive this award for student of the month.

Ian Ogborn

Tom DiGiulio
World Language
Academic excellence

Ian excels in all areas of the class, syntax grammar, history, myth, literature genre, metrics, translation, and more. He has always been a good student but through the years as he matured, his focused narrowed - and with each year he became more of a standout in class and has become the class authority in almost all the areas mentioned previously. I can always count on him to pick up the slack.

Academic excellence

Kolby is the quintessential student who shows a remarkable work ethic as well as outstanding academic achievement. He demonstrates exemplary work, makes contributions in class that advances both his learning and the learning of others. He works well with others, takes setbacks in stride, and is naturally inquisitive. It is a true pleasure to have him in class.

Amanda (Krebs) Frye

Academic excellence

Shakira is a kind-hearted, delightful young lady who pushes herself to use advanced-level language in the classroom whenever possible. As soon as we learn a new concept, she starts taking risks with it and applying it in her everyday language usage.
