Senior Tenor Colin Polisano Selected for All-Eastern Chorus Festival

Colin Polisano Fresh off starring in the high school’s fall play “A Servant of Two Masters,” senior tenor Colin Polisano was recently selected to perform in the mixed chorus at the National Association of Music Educators (NAfME) All-Eastern Chorus Festival in Pittsburgh, Pa., in April.

Based on his work in district, regional and all-state chorus this past school year, Polisano is one of more than 780 of the most musically talented high school students in the eastern region of the United States selected to perform.

Prior to the festival, Polisano and his fellow performers will spend three days rehearsing with Temple University Music Educatiaon Chair Dr. Rollo Dilworth during NAfME’s Eastern Division Conference in preparation for their April 7 festival performances at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

Founded in 1907, NAfME is dedicated to ensuring the accessibility, presence and perseverance of quality music programs taught by certified music educators, for all students across the nation, regardless of circumstance.
