(January 17, 2023) Almost 100 Elkins Park students on team 5B participated in a hackathon last week with an assist from a group of high school students. Students programmed apps in JavaScript over a four-day period, basing their apps on various books they had read. CHS students visited on the first day to get the event started. On Friday, Jan. 13, the 13 CHS students returned to celebrate progress, provide feedback, and announce hackathon winners in each of four classrooms.
