Clark spent the previous 18 years as the principal at Wyncote Elementary, and succeeds Mr. Brian Wallace who left the district to pursue other educational opportunities.

“I am grateful to have a dedicated educator and administrator like Dr. Clark on staff, and am appreciative of her willingness to take on this role,” said CSD Superintendent Dr. Brian W. Scriven. “I know Dr. Clark is committed to creating innovative, equitable and professional learning environments so that all members of the organization reach optimal success.”

Dr. Clark earned her doctorate in special education from Arcadia in 2010, and will lean on her nearly two decades of experience in curricular innovation and community building in her new position.

“Principalship is my calling,” Dr. Clark said. “It allows me to be an instructional leader while keeping that personal connection with students and the community I so enjoy. Change is often difficult to manage. However, I am up for new beginnings and look forward to hearing the community’s insights regarding positive programming and areas of opportunity for our school.”

Dr. Clark brings expertise in instructional effectiveness, leadership through data management and analysis and experience in instructional design with her to Elkins Park. She seeks to help Elkins Park’s fifth and sixth graders meet their fullest potential by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking and invites a sharing of ideas.

Dr. Clark resides in Wyncote with her family.
