(May 23, 2022) Cultural Proficiency and Equity Student Ambassadors held a town hall with students, staff and board members in the CHS Little Theater on Monday morning. The event addressed a wide array of issues, including student motivation, staff support and empathy, and the desire to build community. The ambassadors reiterated that none of the issues presented were meant to cast accusations, but rather to create an open line of communication to express concerns. A few proposed solutions involved re-implementing study hall and morning announcements and updating the curriculum to make it more representative of student experiences.
