CHS Senior Chloe Kirkland Takes Third in Entrepreneur Pitch Competition
(April 29, 2022) - Pitching her idea for Kirkland Vending Service, CHS senior Chloe Kirkland tied for third place in the 2022 Entrepreneurs Game Plan, a joint effort by the Firstrust Bank, the Eagles, and EVERFI. By placing third, Kirkland, the CHS DECA president, won $500 for the business program at Cheltenham High School and some Eagles gear for herself.
Held at Lincoln Financial Field’s Firstrust Bank Club, the event created the opportunity for students to showcase their entrepreneurial spirit by pitching business ideas, and culled high school students from across the area for their business ideas. Students were required to create a new product, devise a marketing plan around it, project financial performance, and describe it in detail to a panel of judges.
Run by the high school business department, DECA is a student organization which seeks to nurture entrepreneurial-minded students and educate students about different opportunities in the field of business.
