Each class visited the iLab, Cheltenham Elementary’s makerspace, for a special lesson in how to use and program robots, assisted by student volunteers from Cheltenham High School.

On Wednesday, April 6, more than 70 families attended the fourth annual Family Code and Robotics Night. Challenge Teacher Gerald Aungst ran introductory coding activities for parents/guardians and children. The CES iLab Student Tech Team and CES Robotics Team also ran robotics lessons.

The CHS Robotics Team and members of Sarah Putterman’s CHS computer science classes were on hand to demonstrate more advanced robotics and coding skills.
