Cedarbrook’s Beth Kenna Wins 2022 DuPont Excellence in Teaching Award

beth kenna selfie(March 30, 2022) Cedarbrook Challenge Teacher Beth Kenna has been recognized with the 2022  DuPont Excellence in Teaching Award for her years-long involvement with the Delaware Valley Science Fair, and work on behalf of her students. In addition to recognition, the honor comes with a $500 cash award, plaque, and an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2023 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF).

I am most appreciative of this recognition and the opportunity to attend the 2023 ISEF,” said Kenna, who earned the 2020-2021 Exemplary Teacher Award, Middle School Division from the Montgomery County Science Teachers Association. “The cash award will certainly boost purchasing of classroom supplies/equipment.

The award is presented to two teachers who demonstrate extraordinary teaching skills, communicate STEM inquiry and learning, and show a talent for motivating and supporting their students.
