Myers Machines Compete at FIRST Robotics Lego League Regionals
The Myers Machines participated in the closing ceremonies of the FIRST Robotics Lego League PA-East Regional competition on Wednesday. While the team was not the one team of 30 to advance to the world championship in Houston, the squad did demonstrate flexibility throughout a season filled with uncertainty.
One of the youngest teams in the competition, the Machines learned about coding, innovation, robot design and how to work as a team. The team named its robot “Jacob Gasaz” using the first letter in each team member’s name. This group is just the second Myers team to move to the regional competition.
The team will continue to meet once a week to refine missions, and hopes to participate in a spring Robo Rumble.
