PBL Creates Black History Month T-Shirts

PBL Makes BHM T-shirtsPBL11 received a grant from the Cheltenham School District Foundation (CSDF) to purchase screen printing supplies, which will provide opportunities to develop students’ skills around product design and marketing.

For their first offering, PBL11 students designed t-shirts in honor of Black History Month. Students worked in teams and consulted with multimedia artist and art educator Stephane Rowley (http://ow.ly/7qBH50HPRck) to refine their t-shirt designs.

Congratulations to the winning teams of Donovan Agyare, Justice Saunders and James VanBeverhoudt, who designed “I Love Being Black”; and Amelia Fishman and Ava Klebanoff, who came up with “Black Lives Matter Plaza.” Printing is underway and shirts are for sale for $10 to the entire CSD community throughout February or until they sell out.
