Chris Myarick '14 Makes Miami Dolphins Practice Squad

Chris Myarick '14 Makes Miami Dolphins Practice Squad Chris Myarick '14 has been named to the Miami Dolphins' practice squad as a tight end for the second consecutive season. In a training camp article about the Dolphins' tight end position, the blog "PhinPhanatic" referenced Myarick, who joined the South Florida organization as an undrafted free agent in 2019, as having "good hands" and stated the "Dolphins do like what he brings to the team," but questioned if the Dolphins would keep as many as four tight ends.

The 6-5, 261 lbs. Myarick, a four-year letterwinner for the Temple Owls, found himself on the outside looking in after final cuts, having lost the battle for the No. 3 tight end spot on the depth chart. But the team and coach Brian Flores brought Myarick and 16 other players back into the fold to fill out its developmental squad, a group of players a team has signed who are not on its main roster.
