Myers Elementary Robotics Team Impresses at Tournament

Myers Robotics Team

Myers Machines Robotics Team won the Judges Award on Saturday at Southeast Qualifier of University of Pennsylvania's FIRST LEGO League Tournament! In the words of the judges, "These young engineers have a really bright future, their innovative ideas will help any creature. Into the sky they shoot and they soar, here's a Rising Star Judges Award – you couldn't have impressed us more!" In addition to this prestigious award, our Myers Machines, the youngest team at the tournament by far, also earned 12th place of of 18 teams in the Robot Game. The FIRST LEGO League is for students from 9 - 14 years of age, so some of the students our team competed against were in high school. What a wonderful accomplishment! As our team says, "Robotics is the hardest fun you'll ever have!"
