CHS Students Attend Penn's STEM Conference

PENN STEM On Saturday, October 1st, Cheltenham High School Vice Principal, Dr. Ben Hammond, accompanied a group of CHS students to University of Pennsylvania for its Annual STEM conference. This year's conference theme was "Why I STEM." The academic event was hosted by University of Pennsylvania's Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Participating high school students were exposed to hands on activities in the fields of Organic Chemistry, Material Science, Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Science.
