Wyncote Staffers Present at PBIS Implementers Forum

Scarpato and Flynn at the conference(December 2, 2022) Wyncote teacher Tanya Scarpato and media specialist Amy Flynn were selected to present “PBIS ROARS at Wyncote - Implementing Equitable School-Wide Acknowledgements for SWPBIS” at the 2022 PA-PBS Implementers Forum in Hershey this past Wednesday. The duo also received Wyncote’s award for completing the school’s Tier 1 Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) implementation.

The Implementers Forum is an opportunity to learn about advancing supports and having a voice for all students, including students with disabilities in the implementation of school or program-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).  The forum serves to provide participants with information focused on establishing, maintaining, and expanding PBIS through a three-tiered decision-making framework that guides the selection, integration, and implementation of evidence-based practices for improving behavior outcomes for all learners.

Congratulations, Wyncote!
