(December 2, 2022) Wyncote teacher Tanya Scarpato and media specialist Amy Flynn were selected to present “PBIS ROARS at Wyncote - Implementing Equitable School-Wide Acknowledgements for SWPBIS” at the 2022 PA-PBS Implementers Forum in Hershey this past Wednesday. The duo also received Wyncote’s award for completing the school’s Tier 1 Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) implementation.

The Implementers Forum is an opportunity to learn about advancing supports and having a voice for all students, including students with disabilities in the implementation of school or program-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).  The forum serves to provide participants with information focused on establishing, maintaining, and expanding PBIS through a three-tiered decision-making framework that guides the selection, integration, and implementation of evidence-based practices for improving behavior outcomes for all learners.
