(March 17, 2023) Students from Glenside Elementary enjoyed today’s S.T.E.M. Fair by visiting multiple stations to participate in S.T.E.M.-related games and activities in the gymnasium. Each station was organized by five to 10 high school students from schools across the county, including Germantown Academy, Upper Dublin High School, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, and of course, Cheltenham High School. 

At the stations, Glenside students learned about making environmentally conscious choices, made terrarium necklaces, pet a snake and a bearded dragon, created plastic bottle cap art, used number puzzles to find the combination to locks, learned about parity bits, which are used to find errors in code, and created self rolling toys with spools, a rubber band, a washer, and tape.
