Every three (3) years, each school district must develop and submit a Comprehensive Plan to the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). The Comprehensive Plan, which encompasses Academic Standards and Assessment, Professional Education, Teacher Induction, Special Education, Educational Technology, and Student Services, will guide our continuous improvement efforts to identify future goals and improve educational opportunities and achievement for all students. The Comprehensive Planning (CP) process contains six sections. Those sections are Profile, Core Foundations, Assurances, Needs Assessment, Action Planning, and Plan Submission. CP is a continuous process used to ensure that all students are achieving at high levels. Beginning June 21, 2022, a draft of Cheltenham's 2022-2025 Comprehensive Plan has been posted online and a print copy is available at the District Administration Building for a 28-day public review and comment period.
