(March 15, 2023) Students in the Elkins Park Leadership Academy recently participated in the Philadelphia Airport’s Next Gen Empowerment Day. Students took a behind-the-scenes tour that most would not get to experience, and were exposed to various career paths. Visiting the FAA air traffic control tower, the ramp tower, and hearing  from the PHL’s CEO, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and Department of Aviation gave the students a unique perspective of the entire airport. United Airlines 737 Captain Cedric Davis served as chaperone.
