  • Myers’ Red Carpet Readers Reaping the Rewards of Hard Work

    Myers students involved in teacher Randi Gordon’s Red Carpet Readers incentive program met very lofty goals to reach their goal and see the fruits of their labor come to life. By hitting their goals, students had the opportunity to dress to the nines, sit in a stretch limo and walk the red carpet into ME. The students paraded through the school amid cheers from classmates, teachers and family members. The Red Carpet Readers and their families celebrated their accomplishments in the library with cake and sparkling cider. One 5-year-old student told Gordon, “This is the best day of my life.”...

    CSD’s second annual Mindful May culminated May 29 and 30 with Cedarbrook and CHS mindful ambassadors visiting and facilitating mindfulness activities with their younger peers at all four elementary schools.
