Hello!!! I am the School Counselor at Wyncote Elementary School. This is my fifth school year at Wyncote and seventh in the Cheltenham School District. I am very passionate, energetic, and feel it’s a privilege to do what I do every day. The social and emotional development of your child is my top priority and I will always advocate for that.

Prior to coming to Cheltenham, I worked for ten years in the Roanoke County Public Schools in various capacities. Initially, I was a Family Specialist for the Virginia Preschool Initiative Program. My co-partner and I were responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the program throughout the district.  Finally, I served as a Counselor throughout several of the 21 elementary schools for Roanoke County Public Schools, as well as assisting in counseling duties at the high school level from time to time.

On a personal note, I grew up in Abington, Pennsylvania and graduated from Abington Senior High School. From there I attended college in Virginia where I met my then-to-be husband and stayed in Virginia starting my career and family. I have two wonderful teenage children that keep my husband and I busy with all of their activities. Another huge piece of my life is our two dogs, a yellow lab and a mini golden doodle. They provide endless entertainment and cuddles!
