About Cheltenham Elementary
Cheltenham Elementary School, located at 7853 Front Street, reopened its doors as a brand new building in September 2013. Students at Cheltenham Elementary have the opportunity to take part in an Orff Ensemble, Vocal Ensemble, Choir, Violin, Philadelphia Young Playwrights, Reading Olympics, Intramural Sports and Problem Solving. School initiatives include programs such as the Mural Project, No Place for Hate, Artsonia and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Project. The parent/teacher organization (PTO) helps to sponsor field trips, assemblies, fairs, movie nights, author’s visits and more. In conjunction with the community, the Cheltenham Elementary family takes part in a variety of community service projects including Daffodil Days, Holiday Baskets, Walk for Diabetes, Pennies for Patients, and Stamp Out Hunger.
