Amy Gadea, CSN
I grew up in the small picturesque resort town of Cadillac, Michigan, and moved to historic Cheltenham in 1996 with my husband and three boys. I enjoy reading, traveling to warmer climates and spending time with my family.
After earning a BSN from Hope College in Michigan in 1991, I went on to obtain a Certificate in School Nursing (CSN) from Immaculata University in 2006, as well as a master's in education in school health services from Eastern University in 2021.
My previous nursing experience was in various healthcare settings, including a neurology unit, a medical office, and a telemetry unit. In 2003, I found my true calling and transitioned into the role of school nurse, where I have since worked to support the well-being and growth of students. I have been the CSN at Elkins Park School since 2009 where my passion is to nurture young pre-teen minds and empower them to become self sufficient.
