Special Education
The Cheltenham School District affords students with disabilities an array of diverse supports and services for meeting individual learning needs. In compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and the Pennsylvania School Code, the district provides an appropriate educational program designed to meet each student’s unique needs and to support academic, social and emotional growth. Every effort is made to serve students at their home schools using an inclusive approach towards instructional delivery. The District is continually working to increase its capacity to serve a wider range of student needs within its public schools.
