Michael DiPiero, CHS Counselor

My name is Michael DiPiero.  I have been fortunate enough to be working at Cheltenham High School, with grades 9-12,  since 2016. Prior to that I was working as a counselor and dean of students in the School District of Philadelphia. I am originally from Montgomery County, Pa., and went to Lower Moreland High School before attending McDaniel College for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. While at McDaniel, I was a four-year starter, and two-year captain of their basketball team before being hired as their men's assistant basketball coach, as well as a counselor in their student academic support services program on campus. I reside in Jenkintown with my two young children and spend my free time as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor and competitor.
