Ambrocia Martin, CHS Counselor

Hello! I am excited to be a counselor at Cheltenham High School.  I am a graduate of Temple University and Holy Family University, where I earned my B.A. in Criminal Justice and my M.S. in Counseling Psychology - Clinical and Mental Health. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Counselor.  In recent years, I served as a Lakeside Counselor and Interim Home and School Visitor for several of the schools in the Cheltenham School District.  It is my passion and purpose to help students and families, as I also work with families and schools on a part-time basis in the roles of Behavioral Specialist Consultant, Psychiatric Inpatient Group Therapist, Mobile Therapist, and Outpatient Therapist.

I have close ties to Cheltenham; I grew up in neighboring Abington and Upper Dublin and I am also a proud mother of three wonderful girls, two of whom are students in the district.  I love being able to build relationships with many families as a parent and as a counselor.  I enjoy volunteering for my children's sports teams and activities, shopping, and traveling.  

I look forward to continuing to form relationships and working with students and families.
