Congratulations to Cheltenham/EASTERN students Nia Bonaparte (Allied Health), Jeslyn Oppong (Allied Health) and Sarah Rann (Robotics & Automated Technology) for being the newest inductees into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), the premier honor society for career and technical education (CTE). The induction ceremony - with Cheltenham/EASTERN board member Charles Burdell-Williams and EASTERN Executive Director Dr. Cathleen Plesnarski - was held on April 30, 2025.

These students earned their place in the society through demonstrated excellence in both academic performance and technical skill development within their CTE programs. Induction into NTHS requires meeting rigorous, chapter-specific criteria that reflect a commitment to leadership, service, and career readiness.

Since its founding in 1984, NTHS has recognized outstanding student achievement in CTE across high schools, career centers, community colleges, and universities nationwide. With more than 50,000 new members inducted annually, the organization is dedicated to celebrating student success and supporting a highly skilled workforce.
