Science Students Compete at PJAS

A handful of CHS science students competed in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science competitions at Penn State University earlier this week and came away with a number of honors. The students competed against students in their specific science categories and age groups from across Pennsylvania. Students earned the right to participate in the competition by finishing in first place at the regional PJAS Science competitions.
Here’s how the students fared:
Frida Brossky, first place in ninth grade Chemistry
Neve Schwarz, first place in ninth grade Chemistry
Benjamin Sampson, first place with a perfect score in ninth grade Computer Science
Noriana Hyunh, second place in ninth grade Microbiology
Grace Byard, second place in ninth grade Botany
Amaya McCants, third place in 10th grade Behavioral/Psychology
