PBL10 students transformed the Little Theatre, its outside hallway, and two nearby classrooms into their own Museum of Illusions open to all CHS students and staff on Wednesday. The showcase included a mix of chemistry, history, and English learning via distortion, perspective, hologram, UV, and illusion. The essential question guiding their work was "Is it real?" Students visited the Philadelphia Museum of Illusions as inspiration for their projects.

The exhibition included 3D projections of notable chemists, distorted atoms, displays of different perspectives on the same historical event; masks representing student self portraits that lit up with hidden messages to represent the version of themselves they keep hidden; a literary magazine with written self reflections; ambigrams; chemical puzzles; hidden message stations; and optical illusion photo opportunities.

In English, students explored various forms of writing and progressed through the writing process including self-reflection, drafting, peer review, and editing. In history, students researched notable players influencing world events and explored different perspectives of those events. In chemistry, students physically distorted factual information. In the STEM lab, students learned basic building and construction.
