Glenside Gets Creative with “Peeps” Project
- 2024-2025 Spotlights
At Glenside Elementary, Ms. Ramirez’s fourth grade class recently took part in a sweet and creative challenge—adopting marshmallow Peeps for two weeks! Students were tasked with keeping their Peeps “alive” by designing and building unique habitats to support its survival. From cozy cottages to imaginative fortresses, no two Peep houses were alike, showcasing the students’ originality and problem-solving skills.
To celebrate room 15’s hard work, the other fourth grade classes took a gallery walk of the Peep habitats, and offered thoughtful compliments and positive feedback on each habitat, highlighting the effort, creativity, and fun that went into the project. It was a wonderful example of hands-on learning, peer encouragement, and joyful exploration.
