Five members of the CHS Cultural Proficiency and Equity Student Ambassadors (CPESA) program, Helen Dugan, Andi Jones, Noah Ryan, Noelle Ryan and Shiloh Somerville, presented their findings from the CHS Belonging Survey on Thursday, May 15 at the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus 4th Annual K. Leroy Irvis Days of Action.

In their presentation, the students' objective was to understand students' perceptions of belonging and identify areas for improvement. They worked toward this goal by first analyzing survey data, brainstorming reasons behind the data and coming up with plans to address the issues. They presented alongside members of the North Penn High School CPESA.

The group had the opportunity to meet and speak with a number of influential individuals, including PA State Representative Malcolm Kenyatta and Chad Lassiter, executive director of the PA Human Relations Commission.
