Friday morning, about 50 CHS students took advantage of the opportunity to attend a protective services and public safety career panel in the library. The panel included Chief John Slavin and Lt. Andy Snyder from the Cheltenham Township Police Department; Milton Barham, a community outreach specialist from the Federal Bureau of Investigation; Chief Jessica Barto from Cheltenham Emergency Medical Services; and Lorne Hammond from Epic Outreach Global. The panel answered questions relating to their inspiration to enter the fields, common misconceptions, hiring trends and what they wish their younger selves knew. Photos>
