  • Cheltenham Elementary Celebrates Black History Month

    This year at Cheltenham Elementary, each grade level focused on the 2021 theme for Black History Month, “The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity.” Each grade focused on a specific area of interest. Kindergarten studied the arts; first grade examined traditional cuisine in black families; second grade looked at storytelling in the black family and community; third grade reviewed the family; and fourth grade learned about the idea of “Making a Way Out of No Way...Activating Our Faith.”
