  • Cedarbrook Learns About Holocaust Survivors

    (April 9, 2024) Performers from Theater Ariel at Gratz College showcased “Survivors,” a play based on the testimonies of 10 Holocaust survivors on Tuesday afternoon at Cedarbrook. CBK scholars participated in a brief Q&A session after the performance.

  • Moon Phase Observatories Project at CBK

    (April 4, 2024) Moon phase observatories are being built in Omar Rose’s Cedarbrook classroom, as part of a Project Based Learning/Science Technology Engineering Art and Math (S.T.E.A.M) assignment. Designed to introduce astronomical studies to Cedarbrook’s eighth grade students before they began learning it in science classes, the project was also meant to be an opportunity for our students to think about how their learning can impact other students in the district.

    (March 4, 2024) Several young scientists from Cedarbrook came away winners at the recent Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) competitions at Souderton Area HS.

  • CBK Gets Groovy at Black History Hip Hop Club Performance

    (Feb. 29, 2024) Cedarbrook’s Hip Hop club got into the groove Thursday morning as part of the school’s Black History Month celebration. The club celebrated its fifth year by performing dances inspired by previous performances.

  • CBK Students Study Native American Removal

    (Feb. 1, 2024) In Isaac Stanford’s seventh grade social studies class, students have been studying the removal of Native Americans from lands east of the Mississippi in the 1800s. Students first looked at the guiding question, “What Does it Mean to Remove a People?” and heard from members of the Native American community, looked at primary source documents, maps, and images.
