    eppsMr. Zachary J. Epps (he/him) is a servant leader committed to contributing to measurable improvements in the lives of children, youth, and families. Mr. Epps believes policy and programs should be rooted in the real experiences of those most impacted. A resident of Melrose Park, Zachary is grounded by his family, a brilliant wife, Phylicia, and three sons, two of  whom attend Cheltenham schools.

    With more than a decade of experience within or connected to the public sector, Mr. Epps supports organizations to achieve and scale results through leadership and intercultural development, authentic community engagement, and data-driven decision-making. Mr. Epps’ professional experience includes managing a national youth leadership program; designing policy advocacy efforts within a large school district; and legislative and governmental operations. 

    A lifelong learner and avid competitor, Mr. Epps attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where he earned a degree in criminology and criminal justice. He chairs the governing board for the Youth Sentencing & Reentry Project, an organization committed to ending the practice of sending children to adult prisons.
