I am a proud alumna of the Community College of Philadelphia’s Nursing Program, and have more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. Starting as a home health aide, I have  consistently built upon my nursing skill set to achieve licensure as a registered nurse, and am working diligently to obtain my Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and certified school nurse credentials from West Chester University. Prior to receiving my RN, I worked alongside our district nurses as a licensed practical nurse substitute when needed. Those five years prepared me for the transition of becoming part of the CSD family permanently in February 2021. 

I love spoken word and am an avid reader, but community nursing is my passion. I am an active member of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc., the motto of which, “Service for Humanity,” aligns with one of my many focuses because it involves improvement of communal responsibility to cultivate excellence among our future citizens and world community members.
