After teaching for less than a year in the Philadelphia School District, I have been a music teacher and the Director of Bands at CHS since 2013. I teach all levels of woodwind, brass, and percussion students through band classes and also teach AP Music Theory and Beginner Guitar. I also coordinate all extra-curricular band activities, including the Marching Panthers, the Jazz Big Band, Indoor Percussion Ensemble, and Indoor Color Guard. I am lucky to work in a special and diverse community like Cheltenham where so many students have a passion for the arts. My goal is not only to push students to do their best in music, but also teach discipline, leadership, a sense of community, and other life lessons through music.
