Brian Smith | English
I am Brian Smith and I wear many hats at Cheltenham High School. Over the course of my 16-year career I’ve served as an English teacher for all levels and grades, including a number of elective courses. I’m currently a guidance counselor for Gifted students and an English teacher for the new CHS Project Based Learning program. I am the author of two published fiction novels, The Trail and Merry AxMas, and have taught writing to adults and other authors at the Philadelphia Writers’ Conference. I am currently excited about my new position of Project Based Learning teacher because of the promise of solving real-world problems and engaging all of my interests outside of English and writing. My education includes degrees from York College of Pennsylvania and Arcadia University. I also studied at York St. John University in York, England. I currently reside in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with my wife Megan and two young daughters. My hobbies include hiking, camping, drawing, playing tennis and guitar.
